CM Yogi holds Janta Darshan in Gorakhpur, vows quick relief

Chief minister Yogi Adityanath, during his visit to Gorakhpur, held a Janta Darshan at Digvijaya Nath Auditorium in Gorakhnath Temple on Wednesday. Meeting around 200 people, he assured them of prompt resolutions to their concerns, reinforcing his government’s commitment to responsive governance.

A significant number of women attended the Janta Darshan, where CM Yogi patiently listened to their concerns. He forwarded their applications to the relevant officials and instructed them to ensure swift action. He also stressed the need for strict legal measures against land grabbers and ordered thorough investigations into cases of persistent harassment.

For individuals seeking financial aid for medical treatment, CM Yogi assured them that a lack of funds would not hinder their care. He directed officials to expedite the hospital estimate process and forward it to the government for assistance from the chief minister’s discretionary fund.

CM Yogi arrived in Gorakhpur on Tuesday to mark the completion of eight years of his government. Before departing for Agra on Wednesday morning, he met visitors at Mahant Digvijay Nath Smriti Bhawan, assuring them, “Do not worry. Every problem will be resolved.”

The CM also engaged with children accompanying their families. He inquired about their studies, encouraged them, and gifted them chocolates as a gesture of affection.

During the event, Pushpendra Singh, coordinator of the Vidhut Sangharsh Morcha, along with other members, submitted a memorandum to CM Yogi. They urged him to roll back the privatisation process in the electricity sector, citing improvements in power generation and loss reduction under the BJP-led government.
