11 minutes in space: Meet the 6-woman crew of Blue Origin’s 11th flight that takes off today

  • The trip, launching at 2.30pm BST (8.30am local time) on Monday, is expected to last around 11 minutes, and pass over the Karman line, 62 miles above Earth.

Blue Origin, the space technology company owned by Jeff Bezos, will be sending an all-female team, including his fiance Lauren Sanchez, Katy Perry, Gayle King, Aisha Bowe, Amanda Nguyen, and Kerianne Flynn, into space on April 14.
