Pak Puts Airports On HIGH ALERT, Nixes All Flights To PoK Amid Fears Of India Attack | Pahalgam

NEW DELHI: India has barred aircraft operated by Pakistan-registered airlines, including military planes of that country, from its airspace effective the midnight of April 30-May 1. No aircraft registered in Pakistan, or owned, operated, or leased by any Pakistani airline or operator — including military flights — is allowed to fly in Indian airspace till May 23, 2025, for now, according to a notice to airmen (NOTAM) issued late Wednesday. All of Indian airspace (from ground level to unlimited altitude) across multiple flight information regions (Delhi, Mumbai, Chennai & Kolkata) remain out of bound for Pakistan-registered planes.

Pakistan had barred aircraft operated by Indian carriers, charter operators and private jets registered here last Thursday (April 24) from 6 pm IST. While a large number of Indian airliners’ flights between north India, especially Delhi, followed by Amritsar, Chandigarh and Lucknow, and the west are now taking a longer route.
