NEW DELHI: A Delhi court rejected the bail plea of Pankaj Lamba, accused in the murder of Harshita Brella, who was allegedly killed by her husband, Pankaj Lamba, in November last year in east London. Sources said he applied for bail, which was rejected by the court. “He was absconding since the murder,” a source said. Delhi Police sent a LR to UK Police, requesting information related to the murder case. Brella’s body was recovered from the boot of a vehicle on Brisbane Road in the Ilford area of London during the early hours of Nov 14, 2024. The primary suspect in the case, Brella’s husband, Pankaj Lamba, is believed to be hiding within the country.
