Italian Soldiers ‘Hit’ In Lebanon Rocket Attack; UNIFIL Base Bombed In Shama

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) have reportedly targeted a UN peacekeeping force in Lebanon once again, launching a significant attack on a UNIFIL base in southern Lebanon. Italian soldiers from NATO were reportedly hit, with at least four Italian soldiers injured, according to Lebanese government sources. The attack took place at the UNIFIL headquarters in Shama. This escalation comes just days after Italy issued a strong warning to Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, vehemently denouncing the IDF’s actions against UN peacekeepers in Lebanon, raising tensions between Italy and Israel.
