JNU Admissions 2024-25: Apply Now for PhD Programs | Delhi News

New Delhi: Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU) has officially opened the application process for admission to its PhD programmes for 2024-25 academic year.
Admissions will be conducted based on the scores of NET (UGC-CSIR), JRF or GATE. Interested candidates can submit their applications online at the university’s official website, jnu.ac.in. The deadline for registration is Dec 2.
Candidates are advised to ensure they meet the eligibility requirements, check availability of seats and understand all other relevant details before completing the online application. In its official notification, JNU has urged applicants to carefully review the e-prospectus for available PhD programmes, which is accessible on the university’s website.
Furthermore, applicants must apply separately for admission through NET (UGC-CSIR), JRF, or GATE (for the School of Engineering only). After the application window closes, candidates will have the opportunity to make corrections to their submitted details on Dec 3 and 4. Invitations for the viva voce will be tentatively sent by Dec 12, with the viva voce examinations expected to take place between Dec 16 and 22.
