Bengaluru traffic police discontinues PublicEye app, introduces ASTraM for traffic violation reports | Bengaluru

The Bengaluru Traffic Police (BTP) has announced that the PublicEye App, previously used for reporting traffic violations, has been officially phased out.

The announcement was made on X, where BTP informed citizens that the app, developed in collaboration with iChangeMyCity, is no longer being monitored.

In its place, BTP has introduced the ASTraM App, a newly developed platform that integrates multiple traffic-related services.

The police urged citizens to download and use ASTraM, available on both Google Play Store and the App Store, for reporting traffic violations, accessing real-time traffic updates, and making fine payments.

“By transitioning to this new platform, citizens can continue to play a vital role in maintaining order on our roads while benefiting from a more efficient and user-friendly experience,” the BTP stated in its post.

The move aims to streamline public participation in traffic regulation and enhance digital services for Bengaluru’s commuters.
